The Way That Duplication May Lead To Large Scale Income

Friday, March 19th, 2010

Although we all dream of living a luxurious lifestyle, the sad fact is that only 1% of us will actually be wealthy. Surprisingly, far more act as if they actually will be. This is clearly a dream that many choose to chase.

Inheriting money or winning it are two ways of becoming rich, but not all of us are so fortunate. Here a few tips to finding wealth through other means, all of which make it extremely possible.

Find a quiet space and get your thinking cap on. What are your strengths? Do you have a great idea that nobody else seems to have thought of? Draw up a plan of action, but be realistic.

If you only have a couple of hundred dollars in your account, opening that great steak restaurant isn’t going to happen anytime soon. If you have very little money, your time is your most important resource.

One thing you shouldn’t do is get into the mindset that you have to be a genius. Not every successful person had invented and iPhone or iTouch.

Growth In The Laxative Market

Tuesday, March 16th, 2010

Research reports from industry and university researchers continue to indicate that constipation affects a broad swathe of the population. The numbers suggest that some 10% of the population has experienced constipation within the last six months and some smaller fraction experience it on a chronic basis. Therefore the demand for constipation treatments remain large but also the industry has responded with a plethora of remedy products.

Many entrepreneurs interested in entering the market for supplying constipation treatments may be discouraged by what may seem to be a mature, stable and saturated market. The real situation however, is both more hopeful and bleak simultaneously. The reason is that there are few if any constipation remedies that are effective for everyone all the time. The market is split into various treatments of varying efficacy, with little diagnostics to distinguish which patients benefit from which treatments.

Currently, the treatment market can be divided into 4 types. There are supplemental agents, which don’t require FDA approval. There are herbal agents, which usually fall outside FDA jurisdiction but has occasionally experienced periods of regulation. There are general laxative agents that are either over-the-counter or by prescription. There are the new “targeted therapies” that attempt to address molecular and hormonal causes of constipation.

A Market Analysis Of Customer Needs For The Natural Laxatives

Monday, March 15th, 2010

The majority of the population understand natural laxatives either through having tried some themselves or knowing someone who has. Natural laxatives are defined as therapeutic agents derived from natural sources that fight constipation. The natural sources vary from herbal elements to grain husks. In general, they fit into either one of two groups: high fiber substances, and herbal laxatives. For entrepreneurs and consumers of laxatives, an understanding of the natural laxative market is helpful for business decisions as well as product purchasing.

For starters, statistics indicate that approximately 5-15% of all people suffer from constipation at one time or another. Given that the population fo the U.S. is around 300 million, that means anywhere from 15 million to 45 million people suffer from constipation. Most people don’t seek treatment, but a substantial number will spend close to $700 million on OTC laxatives. Therefore, one might estimate that the potential market is approximately half a billion dollars or more.

The first kind of natural laxative considered here is fiber-based, often suggested as a first line therapy for idiopathic constipation. Fiber is a polymeric sugar-like molecule that is indigestible to humans. It also soaks up moisture easily, thus retaining fluid in the gut which makes the stool bulkier, softer and more mobile. Most people know of high fiber products like bran grains and psyllium seeds.

The Need For Soft Skills In Today’s Work Environment

Monday, March 15th, 2010

Individuals with limited exposure to the world of work may lack the “soft skills” needed to get a job, stay employed, and advance. Soft skills are the nontechnical skills, abilities, and traits that workers need to function in a specific employment environment. They include four sets of place of work competencies: problem-solving and other cognitive skills, oral communication skills, personal qualities and work ethic, and interpersonal and teamwork skills.

There are different ways to provide soft skills training to individuals moving into the workforce. A job readiness curriculum that emphasizes employability skills is one approach. Soft skills training can also be incorporated into vocational training and other program activities. Agencies that provide employment-related services can structure programs to simulate the workplace. Some skills which can enhance employment ability are as follows:Building with the Basics: Grammar and Punctuation E-Mail Gems Professional Writing Skills Speak Smart: Oral Grammar Taking the Grr out of Grammar Aerial Lift Conducting Effective Accident Investigations Confined Space Entry Cutting Worker’s Comp Costs Defensive Driving Fall Safety Forklift Safety Having an Effective Safety Committee Hazard Communications Hazard Identification Hazardous Energy Control (Lockout/Tag out) Hearing Safety Job Safety Analysis Ladder Safety Office Ergonomics OSHA Recordkeeping Personal Protective Equipment Preventing Back Injuries Respiratory Safety Scaffold Safety The Supervisor’s Role In Preventing Accidents Trenching and Shoring Safety Violence in the Workplace Work zone Safety Call Center Training: Sales and Customer Service Training for Call Center Agents Business Ethics for the Office Customer Service: Critical Elements of Customer Service Marketing and Sales Mastering the Interview

Using Your Influence

Sunday, March 14th, 2010

The world is a huge place. So, it’s not surprising that we all feel little or invisible at times. It can get easy to become lazy about life and just sit around wishing for good things to happen. Really, though, it’s important to step up, take a stand and begin influencing and inspiring others.

It’s great to inspire the masses, as politicians and movie stars do. It’s just not going to happen for all of us, but that’s not a bad thing at all. You can impact others one or two at a time and they over all impact may still be huge because they can impart that knowledge and influence to more people.

Defining Influence:

Influence can be defined as an impact on others. One way to accomplish that goal is to try to change someone’s mind about something. The more subtle you are about it, the better your chances are of swinging someone to your side of an issue. That can be good or bad, though, depending on the circumstances involved.

How You Can Seek Out The Cheapest Possible Auto Price

Sunday, March 14th, 2010

Shopping for cars can be very daunting, following these guidelines should get you a better deal all round.

When it comes to negotiating prices, start as you mean to go. Make sure you are confident and assertive with out being rude. Play the dealer at his own game; they rely on you being easily manipulated. So get the message across that they need you and your money more than you need their car.

Be succinct and business like at all times. Salesmen/women rely on being able to chat to you as if they were your friend and talk you into buying something way out of your price range. Stay remote and seem uninterested in their patter until they give up and start to talk about the car.

Salespeople have to come across and friendly and amiable otherwise we wouldn’t buy anything off them. A really good one will try and sell you all sorts of add-ons etc. Don’t be sucked in by their banter, they only want your money.

Walk into that lot with an air of someone who knows their stuff. Check out the value of the car with Kelly Blue Book and jot that down too.

Saturday, March 13th, 2010

Designing a balanced life filled with purpose, passion, joy, peace, love, freedom and prosperity is a journey. A journey from ignorance to awareness to enlightenment of one’s self.

This article is the first of many related to the prosperity doctrine. Each subsequent article will build on the previous. The most important step is the one that you make to move forward and commit to yourself to learn and grow. Commit to start today, at this very moment to change yourself and enjoy the fruits of your transformation. No excuses, because there aren’t any. Small improvements consistently applied result in huge changes.

Let’s start our journey by discussing wealth. What exactly is wealth? Is it material possessions? Is it money? Is it family, friends or love? Is it balance? The definition of true wealth is as unique as each individual. It’s relative. But the bottom line is that wealth is not just financial security.

Wealth is:

Whatever Excites And Lightens The Heart!

Being truly wealthy and successful in your life is a way of living and thinking. It’s a lifestyle, a state of awareness and consciousness. It’s better defined as prosperity.

Save Cash On All College Textbooks

Saturday, March 13th, 2010

One of the biggest cons involved in going to college is the game involving textbooks. They are essential items and unscrupulous book store prey on this. They will sell you a book for $150 and tell you to bring it back when you’re finished and they’ll buy it back. You duly due this and get $25!

This is the textbook game and unfortunately the students are never the winners. If you go back to that shop at the start of the next semester, there is every chance that you will find the same book in the used section for $120. The way to beat this system is to resell your books online.

The best places to sell your used textbooks are sites that you have probably visited many times before; eBay and Amazon. Even though eBay will charge a fee for selling it, you will still get a lot more for it than you would have done.

Amazon is a well respected site and has a good reputation. A lot of people don’t realize that are buying from individuals using the site, and think they are buying from Amazon itself.

Do You Have What It Takes To Succeed In Sales?

Saturday, March 13th, 2010

There comes a time in every writer on sales’s life where they must address the thorny question of “what makes a great salesperson?”. Now is my time.

Of course, this is a very risky proposition. Inevitably, we all see the world through our own biases and prejudices. No individual’s personal view on the characteristics of great salespeople (or great anything) can ever really compare with a more rigorous, scientific study. But often, it’s the insights from the experience of individuals that informs and triggers the studies and eventually leads to firmer, more evidence-based conclusions.

I’ve been lucky enough to work with hundreds of salespeople from over 20 different countries – so at least my own personal, biased thoughts are based on a reasonably large and diverse sample.

So here we go: my view on the top 4 defining characteristics of great salespeople.

1. Passion. It’s almost impossible to successfully sell a product or service you don’t really believe in and that you’re not really passionate about.

it’s sometimes said that “if you can fake sincerity, you’ve got it made”. But in my experience, it just doesn’t work that way. Customers quickly see through this and realise you can’t be trusted. if you’re not passionate about your products and services you need to find that passion, or find other products and services to sell.

Great Service And Affordable Impossible?

Wednesday, March 10th, 2010

When buying carpet you want to know you are not going to be ripped off by the big carpet retailers in order to get good service, but is big necessarily better?

As we all know you pay more for some carpet retailers just because of there name or franchise, but are they any better just because of there name?

Many customers feel they are getting cheaper carpet prices and good customer service or even a guarantee because they are well-known or advertise on the television. But this really is not the case. Infact it could even work the opposite way for many customers. You do not get that special one on one customer service that you get with the smaller carpet retailers. Some carpet retailers even give the impression that they are actually doing you a favor by coming to see you, that’s if they actually turn up on the day.

With the smaller carpet retailers you will often have the actual owner of the company involved in the sales, estimating or even the laying. You can be assured that you will be looked after as its his name at stakes here and word of mouth travels quickly so recommendations are highly desirable. With the larger carpet companies you some times feel like just a number and not that you are being looked after.
