High Blood Pressure Is Very Risky

Saturday, March 6th, 2010

Hypertension can affect anyone. Hypertension do not affect aged and obese people.

These days we can see hypertension even in very young people. Hypertension is not based on human race. The same it do not have any age barriers too.

When you heard something like a fit person died of heart attack due to hypertension, this this would have taken you by shock. On other hand you will see people who are plump and out of shape, but these people will have normal blood pressure. No one can say whether these kind of people will get hypertension and these kind of people will not get hypertension.

Every one should always check their blood pressure numbers correctly as this disease is called silent killer.

Blood pressure numbers depend mostly on the circumstances it is taken. Your blood pressure cannot be determined by single reading. When you see a rise in blood pressure, there is actually a lot of things to remember before hitting the panic button.

The same thing will happen with stress. When you have a tiring day at work, you will have a high blood pressure. When you have some pain that will rise the blood pressure number. So it is not appropriate to check your blood pressure numbers when you have any pain.

Resolution Of High Blood Pressure Without Drugs

Saturday, February 6th, 2010

From the vast number of words that have been written about high blood pressure and treatment, one may get the idea that the subject is of great concern, important and confusing. Yes, confusing – who can possibly read the over 48 million listings that appear on Google just on the subject “high blood pressure medications”? Much less sort out what is true and important, from what is false or unnecessary?

Blood pressure is calculated to measure the pressure of the blood against the walls of your arteries. It measures the amount of blood pumped by the heart and the amount of resistance to the flow of the blood. If you have high blood pressure, the heart is working too hard against arteries too narrow. Exactly what numbers signify high blood pressure have changed over the years, and sometimes vary depending on who is being the authority.

The nurse will check your blood pressure on every visit to a doctors office. So, although there may be no symptoms of high blood pressure, anyone who ever visits a doctor or nurse would easily be able to find out if they had that condition.

Is Dizziness Caused By Hypertension?

Sunday, December 20th, 2009

“What was that?” A friend of mine was startled while we stood in line for to purchase our tickets. Naturally, I asked him to elaborate on what he meant. I suddenly felt kind of dizzy.”

Since he said this was not the first time he had suddenly felt this way, we began discussing other factors. He learned that he was hypertensive a few months ago, which was also about the time he started noticing sudden dizzy spells.

Until he came across a routine health check up my friend had never witnessed any of the hypertension symptoms. The common hypertension symptoms are headache, blurred vision and fatigue.

What most research has shown is that it is actually low blood pressure and not high blood pressure that causes dizziness. When blood pressure drops suddenly, dizziness is oftentimes the effect.

Research says dizziness is caused by low blood pressure.

It is important to know the way in which blood pressure goes about dropping is less important than identifying that it is dropping. Blood pressure dropping with a pattern of intervals unleashes the side effect, indicating a medical issue.

Low Blood Pressure And Hypertension

Sunday, December 20th, 2009

The persons who suffer from hypertension and hypotension are often from the same family. I have spoken to people both suffering from both high blood pressure and low blood pressure.

Low blood pressure is even viewed with envy in the case of someone in peak physical condition. However, not everyone achieves such low pressure for that reason.

So overall, it is actually neither high nor low blood pressure that should be attractive. Normalized pressure is.

Shock or dangerous heart problem can occur if the blood pressure is very low.

The are number of symptoms present as well.

Anxiety, a uneasy “rocking” feeling and/or profuse sweating are just a few.

High blood pressure is determined by actual reading. Whereas, low blood pressure is diagonalized by those symptoms

That said, those suffering from both conditions need to stay aware of their conditions. And in the case of low blood pressure, it is important to remember that readings may not necessarily determine a healthy or normalized blood pressure.

People with low blood pressure need a lot of nutrition and starting a day without breakfast is very bad for health. Do not skip you breakfast if you are suffering from low blood pressure. But we all know advising is easy but it is hard to follow.

High Blood Pressure and Depression, Is There Connection?

Friday, November 27th, 2009

He was kind of joking. A person recently received an email from a person asking me if there was possible a link between depression and high blood pressure.

Yes, both are linked. Hypertension wi9ll lead to depression and depression will lead to hypertension as well.

It has been proven that people suffering from depression are three times more likely to to develop hypertension than those who don’t suffer depression.

People with depression are less likely to take treatment. What makes it worse is the tend to over eat, smoke and drink too much.

Even people suffering depression that lived otherwise healthy live, also were more likely to suffer high blood pressure. It’s strange as it seems.

Based on this researchers have confirmed that change in hormones due to anxiety and depression can be a huge factor in causing high blood pressure.

The medication taken for depression can cause high blood pressure as side effect. This is also another factor.

Results from research shows that there is link between depression and high blood pressure.

Let’s see what makes hypertension to cause depression.

Controlling High Blood Pressure With Chelation Therapy

Saturday, November 21st, 2009

Most older adults know that blood pressure over–0/90 is considered high blood pressure and that healthy blood pressure is 120/80 or lower. But what does that mean? The first number is the systolic blood pressure, which means the pressure of blood against the artery walls when the heart beats. The second number is the diastolic blood pressure – the pressure of the blood when the heart is at rest (in between beats). Blood pressure goes high when the flow of blood encounters resistance in the arteries.

If blood pressure continues to be high it can cause all kinds of havoc in other systems of the body, such as kidneys and other delicate tissues. It can also cause heart attack or stroke. The heart can be enlarged because it is working harder to pump blood. Yet 30% of people who have high blood pressure don’t even know they have it, because there are no symptoms. .

As we age, cholesterol, calcium, and other minerals accumulate on the inside lining of our blood vessels and, over time, clog them. This process is referred to variously as hardening of the arteries, atherosclerosis, arteriosclerosis, and arterial plaque buildup. It makes it more difficult for the heart to pump blood and thereby increases blood pressure.
