Clarify Your Goals for Greater Success

Having clearly defined goals, especially written down, is necessary to ensure your success. Your greatest desires should become your goals, which you should clearly define. Don’t just say “I want to be rich”. State exactly how much money you want to attain, and by what date you want to attain it.

It may take some more time on your part, but when you write out detailed instructions for yourself instead of vague ideas, you have a much better chance at success. Not only do you know exactly what you need to do, but such plans also tend to invigorate you with more enthusiasm.

Here are a few more tips to ensure your success:

1. Decide what your greatest desire is. Then make that your specific goal.

* Don’t simply say I want to start a new business and be financially successful. Say I want to start a general contracting business, and earn at least $7,000 a month within the next 12 months.

2. Detail! Detail! Detail! Be as specific as you can leave no detail unturned!

* How much money do you want to make?
* Why? What will this money provide for you that you desire?
* What lifestyle do you want?
* How do you want to earn this money?
* When do you want this to happen and how will it change your life?

3. Make smaller goals out of your large goals. Sometimes when we look at a large goal it may seem difficult to attain. Therefore, it is very important to break it down into smaller more manageable goals with established deadlines.

* For example, if you want to start an online business, a small goal would be deciding what niche you will go into, and secure your domain name.

4. Give yourself deadlines. It’s vital to give yourself deadlines so you know you’re making progress towards your goals. Each of your small goals should have an attainable deadline.

5. Track Your progress. Keeping track of your progress will allow you to see how far you have come and will encourage you to keep going!

Organizing for Success

Organization can mean keeping all of your detailed plans and journals in a binder with tabs for easy access to your various sets of notes. Alternatively, you may opt to keep your materials organized by using project management software on your computer. Just remember to make backups of your digital information so that you don’t lose it.

Regardless, of how you choose to get and stay organized allow yourself time to reasonably achieve your goals small and big. Set goals and time frames that are possible to reach don’t make it so demanding that you give up the first week. Stick with it and you will see that by having clear goals they will lead you to success.

Be Blessed & EXPECT SUCCESS,
