Strange Illusion: Enthralling however unconvincing melodrama, a B-film update of Hamlet, with teenager Lydon having questions in regards to slick talker William who’s wooing his widowed mom Eilers. The Barretts of Wimpole Street: Handsome, well-performed, and most amusing MGM production of classic romance between Elizabeth Barrett and Robert Browning in’th century England. Infinity: Sugary however choppy film based on the life of Richard Feynman, whose relation with Arline Arquette in pre-WW2. N.Y.C. takes a fateful turn when he is enlisted to work on the Manhattan Project. The scientist won the Nobel Prize in’65. Hoffa: A biography of legendary Teamster supervisor Jimmy Hoffa modified into a must see film by the galvanizing acting of Nicholson as Jimmy Hoffa.
