Made to go on foot, he turns trip into a plan to make an escape. Cast includes Oliver Reed, Michael J. Pollard, Wolfgang Preiss, Helmut Lohner, Karin Baal, and Peter Karsten. (101 minutes,’69)
House on 92nd Street: Arousing documentary style drama-based movie. It’s about truth and orchestrated on true locations about FBI counterespionage exercises throughout WW2: Nazi representatives, operating in N.Y.C. try to steal part of the atom bomb secrets. Charles G. Booth made an Oscar for this story. Cast includes William Eythe, Lloyd Nolan, Signe Hasso, Gene Lockhart, Leo G. Carroll, and Lydia Clair. (88 minutes,’45)
Chicken Every Sunday: Carefree turn-of the century Americana in reference to get-rich-quick hopeful Dailey and his clingy spouse. Cast includes George Seaton, Dan Dailey, Celeste Holm, Colleen Townsend, Alan Youthful, and Natalie Wood. (91 minutes,’48)
Addicted to Love: This movie is a dark comedy which where we see an ex-boyfriend, and an ex-girlfriend spying on their former partners. They find themselves teamed together, with the young lady planning acts of revenge for her former man. Meg Ryan, Matthew Broderick, Kelly Preston, and Tcheky Karyo star. (1997 dark comedy directed by Griffin Dunne)
Red Skies of Montana: Corny account of woodland-firemen, rescued by amazing fire patterns. Cast includes Richard Widmark, Jeffrey Hunter, Constance Smith, Richard Boone, Richard Crenna, and Charles Bronson. (99 minutes,’52)
Tet Paisan: Early Rossellini classic, largely improvised by a mainly non professional cast. 6 vignettes portray life in Italy throughout WW2. The best has an American nurse looking for her lover in the rubble of Florence.
